A Step-by-Step Guide to Installing Java on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS using SDKMAN

If you need to install Java on your computer, SDKMAN is a great tool to use. SDKMAN is a command-line tool that allows you to easily install, manage, and switch between different versions of Java. In this tutorial, we'll walk through the steps for installing Java on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS using SDKMAN.

Step 1: Install SDKMAN

The first step is to install SDKMAN itself. Open a terminal or command prompt and run the following command:

curl -s "https://get.sdkman.io" | bash

This command will download and install SDKMAN on your system.

Step 2: Install Java with SDKMAN

Now that SDKMAN is installed, we can use it to install Java. Run the following command in your terminal or command prompt:

source "$HOME/.sdkman/bin/sdkman-init.sh"
sdk install java

This will install the latest version of Java available in SDKMAN. If you want to install a specific version, you can use the following command instead:

sdk install java <version>

Replace <version> with the version of Java you want to install, such as 11.0.12.hs-adpt.

Step 3: Verify Java Installation

To verify that Java was installed correctly, run the following command in your terminal or command prompt:

java -version

This should display the version of Java that you just installed.

That's it! You now have Java installed on your computer using SDKMAN. To switch between different versions of Java or manage your Java installations, simply use the SDKMAN commands. Happy coding!

Server-Side Pagination with React-Table and Spring Boot JPA with H2 Database

Pagination is a common technique used to split large amounts of data into smaller, more manageable chunks. With server-side pagination, data is retrieved from the server in smaller batches, reducing the amount of data transferred over the network and improving application performance. React-Table provides a wide range of built-in features such as sorting, filtering, pagination, row selection, and column resizing. These features can be easily configured and customized to fit specific requirements. For example, you can customize the sorting behavior to handle multiple sorting criteria, or you can add custom filters to the table to handle complex data filtering scenarios. Additionally, React-Table provides a flexible API that allows developers to extend its functionality with custom hooks, plugins, and components. This means that you can easily add custom functionality to the table, such as exporting data to CSV or integrating with external data sources. In terms of styl...
